Copilot for my browser? As if my life isn’t already crowded with unsolicited advice.
I’ve got my spouse, my kids, siblings, and neighbours telling me what to do… Now Microsoft Edge wants to enable Copilot Voice and Vision so my browser can see what I’m looking at and talk back?
Thanks, but no thanks. Inspired by Pia Tesdorf’s post, I’m thinking:
→ The marketer & geek in me: Cool feature! The future of user experience is conversational, they say.
→ My privacy self: Umm, hold up. Is this helpful or just plain creepy?
We’ve hit the point where Big Tech not only knows everything about us but also feels entitled to give us advice. Feels like we’re blurring the line between assistance and intrusion—well… maybe that led line has been crossed long ago!
What do you think—genius or too close for comfort?
