I first spoke at eMetrics nearly 15 years ago - today the conference is called the Marketing Analytics Summit (MAS). Each year, a topic emerges as the focal point of the #digitalanalytics industry. Whether it's data quality, attribution, maturity, BigData, governance or something else, this year there seems to be a lot of interest in #dataprivacy.
As we are torn between legal compliance, technical prowess and marketing imperatives, some are working on a near future where privacy by design and by default will be at the heart of our daily lives. I've learned a lot since my turn toward #privacytech and will have the opportunity to share some of the lessons I've learned, the solutions I've discovered, and a future where privacy will be seen as a brand asset rather than an open sore.
Many will cover, one way or another, this important topic: Simo Ahava, Cory Underwood, Maciej Zawadzinski.
