As expected, Google's cookie apocalypse and the end of Apple's IDFA are creating unprecedented pressure for privacy-focused opt-in solutions.
Intent IQ could be one of them - and it claims to "cover 80% of ad inventory with 90% accuracy. In contrast, third-party cookies offer 56% coverage and log-in solutions offer coverage of less than 20%."
The only problem... their "elegant and simple solution", their "proprietary technology" is a black box. All we know is that "Data Sharing Choice (DSC) is a proposal that is powered by opt-in pop-ups and allows for sharing of the site’s first-party cookie identifier, IP address and user-agent, which are anonymous if not matched with personal information." (IHMO, seems like a good start... but an IP address is personal information...)
