We are seeing a lot of examples of #ChatGPT in action.
However, many people are sharing screenshots of the #OpenAI API playground instead of showcasing the real groundbreaking capabilities of ChatGPT! I see two main differences:
- ChatGPT brings conversational dialogue;
- it remembers the context of the conversation.
This morning, I saw someone dismissing it as "chef's stir-fry" regurgitating "correct" and "average" answers: "It takes everything we've seen before, mixes it up, adds a little sauce, and sends it to us."
If we want to effectively use ChatGPT and other #AI technologies, we need to develop a new skill: the art of asking the right questions.
Imagine when/if ChatGPT:
- could access the Internet directly;
- could provide references to relevant, trusted articles supporting its answers;
- was using GPT-4.
I agree with Shital Shah, Principal Research Engineer, Microsoft that "ChatGPT was dropped on us just bit over 24 hours. It's like you wake up to the news of first nuclear explosion and you don't know yet what to think about it but you know world will never be the same again.”
Stay tuned for my #NoConsentNoTracking newsletter tomorrow, where I will share some interesting examples of how ChatGPT can be leveraged in the field of #digitalmarketing #dataprivacy and #dataethics.
