This statement alone could explain why we need laws like the #GDPR.
Modern marketers should see it the other way around.
Perhaps the first proof that your brand is "customer-centric" and really cares about #dataprivacy is to ask if people care enough about YOUR BRAND to agree to be tracked and share their data (hence the notion and requirement for consent).
